Job Description
Pediatric Nurses provide care and consultation to children of all ages and their families. These nurses are often skilled in sub-specialties such as oncology or immunology. Pediatric Nurses must not only love kids, but understand the ways in which a child’s body is different than an adults. Children’s bodies are delicate and the onset of symptoms can come on like a flash flood, therefore, Pediatric Nurses must think on the ball and be able to make quick and correct medical decisions.

While Pediatric Nursing’s chief concern is the handling of a child’s health, it also entails the ability for one to calmly talk to adults about their child’s health.
